Blood Oxygen // Blood Orange
Image Description – the background is a bright but deep yellow. Crystallised liquid in a deep red & Blood orange colour spells out ‘SP’, a photograph of an open blood orange represents an ‘O’ and the same crystallised liquid spells out a superscript ‘2’. This means it reads ‘SpO2’ which is the measurement used for assessing the amount of oxygen in your blood.

Hand Exercise from Jacqui’s Writing Workshop
Image Description – a digital collage and drawing of a hand with writing on it. The hand is palm up and is a black line drawing. Each finger has a collaged word on it and there is writing on the palm. On the little finger it reads ‘promise’, the ring finger it reads ‘love’, the middle finger reads ‘change’, the index finger reads ‘wish’ and the thumb reads ‘happy’. Under the little finger in red writing it reads ‘to forgive my past self’. Under the ring finger it reads in blue ‘my sick and disabled community’. Under the middle finger in purple it reads ‘attitudes towards complex chronic illness in women’. Under the index finger in pink it reads ‘a stable and permanent home’. Under the thumb in green it reads ‘suspended in water. In less pain. With my partner’.
